How to Use Law of Attraction Techniques
to Improve Your Luck
For
most of my life, I considered myself to be an unlucky
person; but when I learned how to use law of
attraction techniques to change my reality,
all that changed. I now consider myself the luckiest
person I've ever met, and it is no coincidence that
good fortune seems to naturally meet me at every turn
in the road.
Have you ever wondered why some people are just naturally
lucky? I know I did. It used to seem unfair to me that
some people could practically fall into a barrel of
horse manure and still come out smelling like a rose!
But
even if you haven't considered yourself to be a lucky
person in the past, you can begin changing that pattern
right now by learning to attract good luck.
We
attract good fortune and happy circumstances using the
same basic law of attraction techniques that work for
money, health, relationships, etc. And in order to become
a lucky person, the place to start is always with your
words.
Most
people have a habit of saying, "with my luck I'll
be lucky to...(fill in the blank)" or similar condescending
statements that send out a strong signal to the universe
about what you expect in your life. If you expect to
be unlucky, guess what? You will be.
So
the language that we use when we talk about ourselves
and others is very, very important. If you have a habit
of criticizing yourself, or assuming that good fortune
is never on your side, it is critical that you recognize
this tendency immediately and begin to replace it with
a new habit. Make up your mind right now that you are
the luckiest person on the face of the planet.

Now, usually my coaching clients stop
me right here and say, "sure Jon, I can say that;
but deep down inside I don't really believe it."
But here's the interesting thing: it doesn't matter
if you believe it or not -- all that matters is that
you keep saying it over and over and over.
"What
we say to ourselves repetitively BECOMES true to us.
Stop and read that last sentence one more time."
If you constantly tell yourself that
you are unlucky, or unattractive, or unintelligent,
or anything else, you may not believe it at first, but
in time I guarantee you will come to see it as the truth.
It could take a week, a month, or in some extreme situations,
even a year. But it will happen, every single time.
Psychologists have understood the power
of the words we use for a long time, and there is even
a specific area of psychology known as NLP (Neuro-Linguistic
Programming), which focuses on our language as a tool
for changing our awareness, behavior and circumstances.
I encourage you to become aware of YOUR
linguistic habits. If you want to be lucky, say, "I
am lucky." And say it every single day. In fact,
don't just say it, but think about it, hum it as a tune,
or write it down when you're scribbling while talking
on the phone.
In other words, introduce the concept
of being lucky into your day to day life. If that little
negative voice pops up and tries to say, "don't
kid yourself -- you're not lucky," just ignore
it and carry on saying it over and over and over anyway.
The
more you say it, and think it, the more you will BECOME
it. Try it for yourself and you'll see how simple law
of attraction techniques like this can help
you to attract luckier circumstances in your life.
