To Attract More Money, get a Money Mindset
Face
it, we all want more money. Attracting more money allows
us to experience luxury and live in comfort, without
anxiety over debt or unpaid bills. So clearly, everyone
want's more moola, but unfortuantely, relatively few
people "get" the secret to attracting more
money into their life by developing a money
mindset. Action is important too (we'll come
to that in a moment), but wealth begins with your mindset
-- it's what you are thinking...
Deep
down, may people still believe that "money is evil"
or "money makes people greedy." In order to
attract more money, you are first going to have to lose
this negative attitude about the Dollars, Euros, Pesos
and Yen. You need to be relaxed with the idea of financial
wealth in order to get anywhere, and this begins by
realizing all the good money does in the world. This
is the starting point for a powerful money mindset.
While
no one would deny that there are stringy money grubbers
in the world (some rich, some not), think about this:
money is principally used for good within our communities,
not evil. Shakespeare said, "nothing is good or
bad but thinking makes it so." This perfectly fits
the concept of money. It's up to US how we use our financial
wealth -- we can do good with it, or use it in an egotistical
way. It's always our call.
The
philosophy of "the law of attraction" teaches
some important lessons about attracting more money.
Namely, that you must be comfortable with cash and have
a fondness (even affection) for it if you want to do
well financially.
This
doesn't mean money is ALL you care about. That's not
a a true money mindset--it's just misguided (and possibly
insane haha). But it does mean that you recognize that
money is good and an important part of life. The law
of attraction also asserts that money is plentiful and
that the natural order of things is abundance, NOT lack.

Now
here's were it gets challenging for many of us. Most
people have been taught to believe the opposite, that
money is scarce, that it "doesn't grow on trees,"
etc. But this lack-based mindset inevitably leads us
to limiting beliefs that will prevent you from attracting
more money into your experience.
The
weird this is, these kinds of false beliefs tend to
be true for people who really believe them! If we cling
to these outdated ideas, it may very well seem difficult
to attract wealth. As with many other things in life,
our belief actually MAKES it true (a self-fulfilling
prophecy)
To
attract more money, we need to first appreciate money--and
all the good it brings to the world. Take a look around--it
won't take you long to spot a children's hospital or
charity organization or life saving vaccine that only
exists because someone had enough wealth and abundance
in their life to give to invest in these things.
Looking
at things this way helps us establish a positive money
mindset. And the more we focus on positive aspects of
wealth and prosperity, the more we attract opportunities
that bring more money into our life. On the other hand,
if we convince ourselves we should be content with just
a little money (usually out of fear), then that's all
we can ever expect to obtain.

It's
also helpful to understand that prosperity has a definite
pattern. It's like the gentle flowing of a river; there
is always a back and forth, a give and take, high tide
and low tide: so we should not be afraid to give if
we want to recieve. To be able to attract more money,
we must release worry and share with others. Getting
stingy with our income is a signal of a lack-based mind,
NOT a real money mindset.
This
doesn't mean we have to spend over and above our means
though. The proper money mindset is to be prudent and
wise in our spending, but not fearful or stingy, while
continually focusing on greater prosperity and abundance.
Fear,
jealousy and the competitive mindset will stop the flow
of money. We never need to compare ourselves to other
people who have also received abundance. Rather, we
should realize that every of us has our own path to
abundance, and if an individual we know comes into a
fortune, we need to be truly happy for them. Our time
will come too. After all, do you want people to resent
YOUR success when it comes? No? Then don't resent their's
either.
Appreciating
wealth is an important part of the money mindset and
attracting more wealth --it will start you seeing the
world as full of opportunity and possibility, not lack
and limitation. Once you begin seeing more of these
opportunities, you can act on them to create greater
wealth in your life. It all begins with a subtle change
of perspective.
